These terms cover informational text messages from Silja Paymer for Mountain View City Council 2026, also called Silja Paymer for MV City Council 2026 (FPPC ID #1488605). By joining the text program, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

How to join

You can join from the text-message page by checking the consent box and completing the signup form. The box is not checked for you. Checking it is how you agree to receive messages.

What you will receive

Messages are informational SMS text messages about campaign updates and voter outreach. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Message delivery depends on your wireless carrier.

These text messages are not a request for a contribution. Contributions to Silja Paymer for MV City Council 2026, if you choose to make one another way, are not tax-deductible. Agreeing to receive texts is not a condition of contributing, volunteering, or attending an event.

Help and stopping messages

Text HELP for help or more information, or email silja.for.mv.council@gmail.com. Text STOP to end messages. You may receive one final message confirming that you have been removed. You can join again later by signing up as you did the first time.

The program works with major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Personally Identifiable Information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

We use your mobile number to send the messages you agreed to and to honor HELP and STOP requests. Text-message opt-in data and consent will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own promotional or marketing purposes.

Your number

You confirm that you are the subscriber, or the usual user, of the mobile number you provide, and that you are allowed to agree to messages at that number.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version will be posted on this page with a new date.
